Tomorrow (Friday) I check out of rehab and check into a local hotel. Then Saturday morning bright and early we head back to Texas. Robyn and her sister Liz will take turns driving back while I rest in the back of El Hefe Rojo.

What an adventure.

• 04 Mar - Break Femur and surgery
• 10 Mar - Transfer from Hospital to Rehab
• 24 Mar - Check out of Rehab

I’ve been in rehab almost three weeks now. The progress is amazing to watch. I’m still not allowed any weight bearing on the left leg. Will probably be around April 14th before that is allowed.

Overall my spirits have been really good and Robyn has been terrific helping me through this ordeal.

Can’t say enough good things about Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego and University Care Center.
